Welcome to the Development section of Sanat-o-Tijarat, where we provide guidance to our youth and people seeking help in choosing an educational path. We are committed to grooming the youth of our community to become industry leaders of tomorrow.
The Department of Sanat o Tijarat Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Canada offers career counseling and personal development services that help you better understand yourself and guide you in making changes in your life or choosing a meaningful career. We use recognized self-report assessments and other tools to explore your aptitudes, personality, strengths, values, and interests. We conduct interpretation meetings and provide you with reports and counseling sessions to explore patterns identified and to increase your self-awareness as you set your professional and life goals. Whether you want to develop personally or excel in your career, we have a program or package that is tailored to your needs.
The National San'at-o-Tijārat Department has recognized the critical need for a mentoring program geared towards the youth, professionals, and new immigrants in need of guidance, support, expertise, and focus. Many immigrant families lack the academic resources to guide their children towards higher education and greater opportunities, while the world's leading businesses have been overtaken by the predominance of Asian/Eastern influence.
To meet these needs, the department has designed a mentoring program with specific parameters for recruiting mentors and mentees, including renowned Ahmadi professionals, scholars, and teachers. The mentorship program is designed to focus on academic, school-to-career, positive youth development, and young/senior professionals and new immigrants. The program will be implemented over ten steps, including determining outcomes, identifying stakeholders, and developing policies and procedures.
The program will also be evaluated and adjusted continuously, with guidance and support from key Jama’at members. Interested participants can apply by filling out the "Become a Mentor" or "Become a Mentee" form, completing a questionnaire if selected, and receiving approval and an orientation package before being matched with a mentor or mentee.
The National San'at-o-Tijārat Mentorship Program is a significant contribution to the youth, professionals, and new immigrants seeking mentorship and guidance in achieving greater academic success and professional opportunities.
